About Corey

I have played and loved music as long as I can remember.  I started learning vocals and trumpet at age 8, and I added guitar, bass, and ukulele as I got older.  I also dabble in piano and drums.  

  I started teaching music for kids in 2012, starting my own program as a result of the pandemic.  Without regular work, I began writing kids songs and developing this program.  

I've also toured nationally with my original band, Cousin Earth, and I've written/performed my own original storybook rock opera entitled "The Green Emerald."

Playing and teaching music is something that became a passion as I experienced the magic of live shows and the joy of teaching.  I'm always happy to share the music I've created, and the knowledge I've gained as a musician over the years.

Most everyone should be able to enjoy music, and learning might be easier than you think (especially with something like ukulele).  Whether you are just starting, or you've been playing forever, we can explore music together.

My classes are interactive, immersive, fun, and catered to you or your child's likes and interests.  If you want to learn Beatles songs, we can do that!  If your child loves Disney, you can expect lots of Disney references in class.
